Captivating Today’s Juries

As a “hot seat operator,” also known as a trial technologies technician, I spend more time in court than most attorneys.  This provides the opportunity to observe a lot of jurors, and throughout the years I’ve definitely noticed a trend:  It’s getting harder and harder to hold their attention.  Whether due to the slowness of the court process or the longness of the days sitting captive to tedious, complex concepts, jurors often don’t appear to be paying all that much attention.   If your case’s most important facts are not memorable, they’re in danger of getting lost in the boredom vortex.

It’s no secret that in today’s world, most people are visual learners.  Why not leverage that fact to captivate your jury?  At Paradigm Trial Technologies, we help litigators try their case visually.   The best part is, this requires zero technological participation or capability on the part of your team of lawyers.  It’s all on us.  You try the case; we run the technology. {That is why my chair in the courtroom is often referred to as “The Hot Seat.”}

One of the most effective ways to present a case using trial technology is The Immersive Approach.  What do I mean by that?  We get and keep the jury engaged by using multiple presentation tools.  In today’s world, people are accustomed to being bombarded with information, whether from their televisions, computers, tablets, or phones.  Why not present your case in the same kind of fashion in the courtroom?   Come at them from all angles with visuals such as static graphics, pull-outs, animations and video.

Paradigm Trial Technologies is here to assist litigators with everything needed to present your case visually in the court room.  From monitors to screens, from graphics to video, we’ve got you covered.  We’ll put our experience to work to keep jurors alert and interested!

Give us a call today and let’s build a visually appealing presentation for your next trial.
