St. Paul, MN:  Paradigm Reporting & Captioning was pleased to provide CART Captioning services at the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act Celebration on Sunday, July 26th.  Since its passage in 1990, the ADA “prohibits discrimination and ensures equal opportunity for persons with disabilities,” which requires that accommodations like CART Captioning services be provided upon request.  CART, Communication Access Realtime Translation, is performed by a court reporter who instantly translates voice-to-text for an individual or an audience.

Several members of Team Paradigm attended the ADA Anniversary Celebration, including four CART providers who worked the event.

Since 1998, Paradigm has proudly served the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.  It was a pleasure to not only provide accommodations for this event, but to join in celebrating the ADA Anniversary at the Minnesota History Center.
