Paradigm President & CEO Jan Ballman, RPR, CMRS, was honored at Barnes & Thornburg’s 6th Annual Women in Leadership – Exploring Pathways event on April 20th with the Nancy A. Sullivan Community Leadership Award.  Created in memory of beloved B&T Partner Nancy Sullivan,  the award recognizes a woman in the community who has “(A) Achieved the highest level of professional excellence; (B) Exemplifies commitment to her community by contributing her time and energy to improve the quality of life of others; (C)  Is dedicated to helping others, especially women, in realizing their leadership potential; and (D) exhibits the qualities of partnership, integrity and perseverance.

Jan was “surprised, grateful and humbled” by the announcement that she had been selected unanimously by the attorneys of Barnes & Thornburg as the 2017 recipient of the prestigious award, presented annually one of the largest women’s events in the Twin Cities.   Jan accepted the award by dedicating it to the memory of her youngest sister Lynne, who, “like Nancy Sullivan, was a strong, beautiful, kind, independent women who left us long before her time,” and pledged to “continue to give back to the community, in Ms. Sullivan’s honor.”
