Closed Captioning Services

Fact:  In the United States, 1-in-5 Americans over the age of twelve has a hearing loss significant enough to hamper communication.  (Johns Hopkins Study, November 2011)

Opening windows of communication for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing is the primary goal of Paradigm’s captioning services. Our top-notch captioners also provide Communications Access Realtime Translation (CART) to capture and transmit the spoken word for anyone to read along and participate in a public or private setting.

Broadcast Captioning
Paradigm´s broadcast captioners, also called stenocaptioners, use court reporting skills on the stenotype machine to provide captions of live television programs, sporting events, legislative proceedings and news. Both CART and captioning provide access and learning tools for people who are Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, blind or use English as a Second Language (ESL).

Our team is committed to finding solutions and improving access to information so that everyone can stay informed, learn and contribute to our communities. Contact us to discuss the possibilities.
