2012 In Review

By: Angie Ballman Punton, Director of Client Relations

What a year it has been for Paradigm Court Reporting & Captioning!

As we approach a fresh start in 2013, I want to take some time to reflect on the past 12 months…

For the past year, I have been at the front desk — the Director of First Impressions.  In that time, it has been a privilege to witness our team from a different perspective.   From my chair at the physical center of the office, I have witnessed teamwork, adaptation, growth, and outstanding client service.  Paradigmers strive to impress and delight our clients and affiliates at every turn – both the staff and court reporters alike.  Perhaps there is something to be said about “Minnesota Nice.”  We are people-pleasers here in the Midwest.  But there is more to it than that.   I think what it comes down to is that Team Paradigm truly believes in the importance of the job of the Official Court Reporter – capturing the record, as independent officers of the court.  We believe in the integrity of the legal process, and we have a deep respect for those who carry it out.   We believe ethics are paramount in executing our jobs as independent officers of the court, and we will not be compromised.   While this may sound like a foregone conclusion, it actually is something that sets us apart from many a court reporting competitor in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

American Businesswomen Mary Kay Ash once said, “People are definitely a company’s greatest asset…  A company is only as good as the people it keeps.”  I am proud to be a part of a company of FABULOUS, DEDICATED, INTELLIGENT people.  I can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store for Team Paradigm!
