Paradigm’s 3rd Annual Veterans History Project Day

Saturday, November 10, 2012 marked Paradigm Court Reporting’s 3rd Annual Veterans History Project Day.  Paradigm welcomed six military veterans to our office Downtown Minneapolis to share their stories which were captured by court reporters and videographers for the United States Library of Congress in Washington D.C.

The VHP was started by Congress back in 2000 as an effort to collect and preserve oral histories of American veterans.  The National Court Reporters Foundation has partnered with the Library to help collect these stories. Paradigm president Jan Ballman, a trustee on the NCRF Board has dedicated a day each year since 2010 to collect stories from local Twin Cities veterans and honor them for their service to our country.

Paradigm staff and court reporters alike volunteer their Saturday to make this day possible.
