To be challenged to avoid sweeteners the week before Christmas felt like cruel and unusual punishment. Those of us participating in Paradigm Court Reporting’s 100 Days of Healthy Food Challenge were a bit frustrated, but did our best to use (some) restraint in light of our commitment to this initiative. It was tough. Especially when the Paradigm gates are flooded with gifts of chocolates, Christmas cookies, candies, oh my!
The harsh reality is that, well, sugar is bad for you. Some researchers have gone as far as to say it’s toxic to our bodies. In our continued efforts to Stay Fabulous, we tried hard to reduce our sugar consumption the week leading up to Christmas!
